A member of one of the oldest families of the town of Mina, passed away
friday when Mrs Eva BEAL age 77 of North East, Erie CO PA died, she was the
wife of Dr Thomas A BEAL a dentist in North East. Mrs BEAL was a Great
Great Granddaughter of Alexander FINDLEY, who founded the village of the
name of Findley Lake NY She was the daughter of James FINDLEY and Sarah
HASLETT FINDLEY , She is survived by her husband and 2 daughters, Mrs INA
WOODS of North East and Mrs WINIFRED CHILCOTT of Pittsburg, 2 brothers,
Roscoe FINDLEY and Rutherford FINDLEY of Mesa AZ, and 2 grandchildren.

ELLIS and CHRISTY of Sherman, and Clymer, he lingered til 11 on Monday
He was born Oct 23 1877 on Feb 15th 1890 he married Miss Bertha GRIMES whose
father died about 2 weeks ago, They had always made their home at Mina with
her parents

dated Sunday April 29, 1945) after an illness of a year;

Findley Lake her mother whom she cared for died Dec 3, 1912 and her father
died Dec 10, 1928 in 1929 She was elected Tax Collector for the town of
Mina, which office she held at her home until herd eath
She died Monday May 3, 1932 after a weeks illness, besides her husband she
leaves a son, Clyde D HOTCHKISS, and a daughter Fren HOTCHKISS ALDAY 3
grandchildren, VIctor HOTCHKISS< Alan and Joan ALDAY 2 brothers, LeRoy and
Clarence Davis of French Creek

has been confied to his room since last August, Deceased was born in
Brownville NY in 1848 being 68 yrs old at his death, he was married in Feb
22 1874 to Cornelia DuNANT who died 14 yrs later leaving a daugher Mrs WILL
COE of Mina, on August 3, 1892 he married to miss Hannah HIMELEIN, of this
place, where he went into the meat business until it burned in 1912 he then
conducted a grocery at the corner of Main and Lake St in FindleyLake
from the last union 1 son and 1 daugher were born, (EDNA M and HERBERT)

Mrs Miriam HAYNER LONG, aged 18 yrs only daughter of Frank HAYNER of North
East but formerly of Mina, died of pneumonia an d heart trouble and was
buried at Mina Cemetery She was married last Christmas to Mr LONG of North

Mr Merle THIEME who had been in poor health for some time passed away Monday
July 20 1942 in a Jamestown hospital, He was a son of EMIL THIEME, of this
place and was 30 yrs of age, surviving are his wife PEARL THIEME, 4
children, his parents , 3 brothers, Clinton and Carl of Buffalo and Alfred
of Findley Lake and 1 sister Miss Evelyn THIEME
Burial in Mina Cemetery probably several more of this name there

I believe this is William Tryon. It is in the list right before his wife Lydia Tryon and the two headstones are right next to each other in the cemetery. The actual inscription is:

the family plot at Mina for Burial in 1930 Emulus now 76 a widower is here
in Mina too
McKendry never married died Jan 28 1916
